Rock 'n' Roll Race is a free browser game where rocks roll down a mountain trail and race for rank. Enter names, choose a winning rank, and use the result to decide who buys the coffee or snacks, or in what order people go.
How do I pick who buys the coffee?
Enter the names, set Win Mode to Last Place and press Start Race. The owner of the last rock buys the coffee. Choose 1st Place if the winner should buy it instead.
Can I use it for snacks or light penalties?
Yes. Nth Place and Range modes pick several people at once, which suits snack duty or a light penalty.
Can it set a turn order?
Yes. The race ends with a full ranking, so you can use it as a speaking or chore order.
Can I replay the same result?
The link made by the Copy Current Link button contains the seed and settings, so opening it replays the same race.
Where are the names stored?
Names stay in this browser and are never sent to a server. They are not put in the address bar, only in the link made by the copy button.
How many people can join, and where does it run?
Up to 30 names. It runs for free, with no install, in recent versions of Chrome, Safari, Edge and Firefox that support WebGL.
